In the heart of its expansion phase, Frody, a renowned ice cream parlor beloved across Mexico City, identified a critical need to upgrade its virtual presence. The primary goal was to enhance customer interaction by enabling an efficient way to locate nearby branches via their website.

Streamlining the User Experience

We commenced by streamlining the user journey, prioritizing the incorporation of a location feature. Users were offered the flexibility to share their location, either directly or via postal code. Leveraging the user's location, we could sort branch results to prioritize proximity, and as an additional benefit, the 'how to get there' button could display routes instantly, thus simplifying the navigation experience.

Recognizing Frody's reputation for customer satisfaction, we developed an integration to automatically synchronize branch reviews, photos, and details from Google Maps. This automation ensured a single source of truth, eliminating manual data entry errors and enhancing the authenticity of displayed content.

Fluid Navigation and Responsive Design

A key focus was on ensuring fluid navigation, utilizing Google Maps' capabilities to enable smooth animations and eliminate map reloads. We equally prioritized responsive design, ensuring the branch locator was accessible and functional across a spectrum of devices, from the smallest mobile phones to desktop monitors.

The implemented solutions not only addressed the initial need for an upgrade but also set a new standard in web interaction for Frody. The renewed website is characterized by its frictionless navigation, responsive design, and user-centered features. Through this transformation, Frody has further solidified its position as a customer-centric brand, ready to meet the virtual era demands.
